Chaintown Bridge Replacement - Fayette and Westmoreland Counties - This project included a Single Span (Span Length - 90 feet) Composite Prestressed Concrete Bridge carrying S.R. 1041 over Jacobs Creek.  The entire project length was 550 feet.  This project was placed on a fast track due to an over-weight truck collapsing the bridge. The agreement was executed on July 8, 1998, and we submitted the final P.S.& E. package on July 31, 1998.

This project consisted of replacing a two-span bridge with a two span (92.2’ span) bridge over York Run. The project included 800’ of approach roadway reconstruction. SPK developed the conceptual plans and specifications for a Department Design-Build project. SPK also provided design review and construction consultation on the project.

Redstone Furnace Road and Bailey Lane - This project included a 20’ prescast concrete structure over Bennington Spring Run. The project also included 400’ ofapproach roadway reconstruction and an intersection improvement.
