This project is the replacement of an existing bridge carrying S.R. 0449 (North Brookland Road) over Pine Creek. The replacement structure is a precast concrete box culvert (18’ normal clear span). A temporary roadway and stream crossing are included in the project to maintain traffic during construction. The project also includes 587 LF of roadway reconstruction.

Interstate Roadway and Bridge Reconstruction - This project includes a Dual Five-Span (Overall span length - 439.5 feet WB/458.0 feet EB) carrying S.R. 0080 WB and EB over S.R. 0220 (Milesburg Interchange); a Dual Three-Span (Overall span length - 274.0 feet WB and EB) carrying S.R. 0080 WB and EB over Bald Eagle Creek; and a Dual Single-Span (Overall span length - 65.2 feet WB/73.0 feet EB) carrying S.R. 0080 WB and EB over S.R. 1006. The project also includes the reconstruction of the Milesburg Interchange (S.R. 0080/S.R. 0220).

Project Letting - 2007

US 6/Allegheny River Bridge Replacement  - This project included a single span (63’ c/c brgs.) prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge with integral abutments. The abutments and bridge barrier included a brick architectural surface treatment to complement an adjacent historic building. The project included 280’ of approach roadway reconstruction. The project also included minor intersection and roadway improvements on a local street network in Coudersport to accommodate detoured traffic during construction of the bridge. The detour was comprised partially of a pair of one-way roads in a residential community and included two temporary traffic signals.
