Fayette County - Four Lane Widening - This project will widen a 1.63 mile highly commercial section of S.R. 0021 from three (3) lanes to five (5) lanes with exclusive left turn lanes at five (5) signalized intersections, three retaining walls, and rehabilitation of a four-span concrete bridge. The project required 60 commercial and residential property acquisitions. Critical design activity is maintaining traffic through the project and ingress/egress to businesses during construction.

S.R. 0022, Section 010

(Cambria County) - Final Needs Study - A study for PennDOT District 9-0 in which the transportation and socioeconomic conditions in the Ebensburg area were examined to determine needed transportation infrastructure improvements. Mr. Piccolomini managed the overall project and budget and designed engineering alternatives. Communications with local government officials and retail property owners was a necessary part of this project.
