Project Length: 4.0 Miles Client: PennDOT Engineering District 1-0 (Installation and Coordination of Traffic Signals) - SPK completed preliminary and final design of a 4.0 mile widening and traffic signal improvement project in the City of Erie. S.R. 0019 is a major north-south corridor in the City with heavy commercial development. The traffic signal work consisted of the preliminary and final design of thirteen (13) traffic signals with an interconnect system. SPK worked closely with the City of Erie and Mill Creek Township to resolve parking issues and to receive their input into traffic signal design issues. SPK completed automated 24-hour and manual intersection traffic counts, field surveys, an alternatives study, preliminary traffic signal reports, and preliminary and final traffic signal design. BACK
