The primary duties of an engineering intern are to assist project managers and design engineers in all aspects of the design process, as well as utilizing and honing drafting skills pertaining to design plans and details. The engineering intern will also have the responsibilities of calculating as well as checking quantities related to their specific engineering field, and working closely with project managers and engineers to develop project cost estimates.
